USD 261 Board of Education Explores Bond Issue to Address District Capital Improvement Needs

The USD 261 Board of Education is currently considering a bond issue to address critical capital improvement needs across the district. We invite all community members to engage in this important discussion as we work to ensure our schools continue to provide safe, functional, and inspiring learning environments.

Several key areas of focus include much-needed upgrades to HVAC systems, plumbing, roofing, interior finishes, and parking lots. These improvements are not only essential for maintaining the structural integrity of our facilities but also play a vital role in enhancing student learning experiences and fostering pride in our schools.

We encourage you to join us at one of our upcoming community meetings to gain further insight into the proposed improvements and how they will impact the future of our district.
